Mini Electric (SE) review – better than a Honda e?

Visit YesAuto to find a new car the quick and easy way –

If you want a stylish electric car that’s also (relatively) affordable and compact, you go for a Honda e, right? Well, not necessarily, there’s also the Fiat 500 electric or the car we’re reviewing this week – the Mini Electric.

Know as the Mini SE outside of the UK, the Mini Electric combines everything we love about BMW’s car for the people and mixes in an all-electric drivetrain. The Mini Electric is powered by a 32.6kWh battery pack that offers a range of up to 145 miles on a single charge.

We were able to get a bit of time with the EV to see just how it stacks up against its Japanese rival.
