今回は、桜の穴場スポットでもあるサイクリングロードの「白石こころーど」を紹介。
サイクリングロードは、札幌コンベンションセンターからJR北広島駅まで続いています。
昭和49年8月に旧国鉄千歳線跡地が、自転車・歩行者専用道路として生まれ変わりました。
2014年に新しい愛称を募集し、1,750点の応募の中から「白石こころーど」に決まりました。
4月下旬から5月上旬には、桜が満開を迎えます。
満開の桜を見ながらの散歩やサイクリングにはとっておきのスポットです。

This time, we will introduce “Shiraishi Kokoro-do", a cycling road that is also a little-known spot for cherry blossoms.
The cycling road runs from the Sapporo Convention Center to JR Kitahiroshima Station.
In August 1974, the site of the former JNR Chitose Line was reborn as a road for bicycles and pedestrians.
In 2014, we solicited new nicknames and were selected as “Shiraishi Kokorodo" from 1,750 entries.
The cherry blossoms are in full bloom from late April to early May.
It is a great spot for walking and cycling while watching the cherry blossoms in full bloom.
