今回は、奥尻島のシンボルでもある「鍋釣岩」を紹介
自然に形成されたもので、ドーナツ型で鍋の弦に形が似ていることからその名がつきました。
高さが19.5mもの大きさで、夜間はライトアップされています。
頂上に生えている木は「ヒロハノヘビノボラズ」といい、枝や葉にトゲがあり蛇も登らないというのが名前の由来。小さな花と赤い実をつけます。
島に来たならば必ず写真を撮っておきたいポイント。
また、夜になるとイカ釣り漁船の漁火夜景が幻想的な光景を生み出します。
普通車で10台、大型バスで3台ほど止められる駐車場があります。

It is 19.5m high and is lit up at night.
The tree that grows on the top is called “Hirohano Snake Noborazu", and the name comes from the fact that there are thorns on the branches and leaves and no snakes can climb. It bears small flowers and red fruits.
A point that you definitely want to take a picture of when you come to the island.
Also, at night, the night view of the squid fishing boat’s fishing fire creates a fantastic sight.
There is a parking lot where you can park 10 cars by regular car and 3 cars by large bus.
